TbXie's Shockwave Totems Hierophant Pantheons, Ascendancy & Bandits (PoE Necropolis 3.24)
Ascendancy (Templar – Hierophant)
Pursuit of Faith
Pursuit of Faith is a huge node both for damage and QoL. Especially early on having an extra totem equates to 50% more damage as you’ll have a low amount of maximum Totems. Later on, it still is a huge multiplier but you’re more in for the quality of life the totem placement speed offers. Decent starter to pick up for our build.
Ritual of Awakeneing
Contrary to our first Ascendancy node, this one gets better the later on we go. More maximum totems abuses this node harder and harder. Yet, even at the lower amounts of invesments this goes up to 25 more damage and a solid amount of regeneration.
Conviction of Power
A big node for scaling both damage and defenses. It grants us a tremendous amount of unconditional critical strike chance, physical mitigation & resistances through endurance and power charges. Very much not to be underestimated.
Arcane Blessing
Arcane Blessing gets you 20% More damage from Arcane Surge as well as making sure you can actually get the buff. Normally you’re forced to spend mana to obtain the buff, but since you’re Eldritch Battery, you would otherwise not be able to obtain this buff. Pretty solid improvement to the build!
Bandits
This build really doesn’t need anything from the Bandit options, so you should kill all. Oak is just too weak to warrant the two skill points and Alira and Kraityn really don’t do anything for us. Two skill points from Eramir it is!
Pantheons
Major God
No debate here, Soul of Solaris, because it’s just the best of the rest. Before obtaining ailment immunity, you can consider using Brine King here to be immune to freeze.
Minor God
Again, no real choice here, Soul of Yugul is a necessary upgraded Pantheon to deal with curses. Combined with a good flask this makes you practically immune to curses.
Upgrading your Pantheons
Whilst upgrading your Pantheons never hurts you (besides for this particular outlier), there’s really not that much you’re getting out of upgrading your Pantheons on this build. Whatever you do, just make sure you never upgrade Soul of Shakari for this character as that does actually hurt us.
Pantheon powers can be upgraded by using Divine Vessel in the Map Device while you are activating the particular Map that contains the boss you need. Once you’ve killed the boss and captured his soul, you can consume the Divine Vessel, which’ll show up filled in the map device, or deliver it to Sin in Oriath for extra dialogue relating to the game’s lore.
