How to summon the Spiders
In this section we’re gonna cover how to summon the Spiders, since without knowing how to do this, you’re gonna find yourself in quite a lot of trouble.
Mapping
During maps, summoning the Spiders is a breeze with the 
Infernal Legion Support
Summon Skitterbots
- Place the cursor on top of your character
- Double cast your
Desecrate - Press your
The Writhing Jar
I have my Desecrate on Q, and and my The Writhing Jar on 5.
The combo would go like this: Q Q 5.
We cast Desecrate since we need corpses to summon the spiders.
Bossing
During bossing the Combo is quite similar, but the main problem is that the Skitterbots are quite aggressive. If you’re not close to the Skitterbots, you won’t be able to summon the Spiders. My recommendation for bosses would be to summon the Spiders the old way as we did in Lake of Kalandra:
- Place the cursor on top of your character
- Double cast your Desecrate
- Hold your
Divine Ire - Press your The Writhing Jar
I have my Desecrate on Q, my Divine Ire on W and and my The Writhing Jar on 5.
The combo would go like this: Q Q HOLD W 5
And this is how you get 18-20 Spiders.
You’re gonna need an extra socket, so drop the Infernal Legion, since it’s not needed when running bosses.
The abovementioned tech needs to be used for bosses such as Sirus, Shaper, Elder, Maven, and so on.
While running maps, you don’t really need to do anything besides casting a Desecrate on top of a pack of enemies. The Infernal Legion Support Summon Skitterbots will burn those enemies and when they are defeated, you’re gonna spawn spiders. However, for endgame Bosses, you still need to know how to summon your spiders by using Divine Ire.
If your Spiders despawn just as you reach a Map Boss, then get close to the Map Boss, do the combo mentioned in the Mapping Section ( Q Q 5), and you’re gonna spawn 20 Spiders.
However if you plan on playing with Eldritch Gaze or Wrath of the Cosmos, you should be careful when trying to tank the map boss. The best solution in that case is to step away from the boss, wait for the skitterbots to come close to you, then you do the combo for mapping ( Q Q 5 ), and then you can go back and defeat the boss in a few seconds.
